Light, Bright, White!!!

White jeans, white jackets, white sweaters, white shirts...the list goes on. It's time to bring them out, as long as it's not a linen or light weight cotton. And...not head to toe white. Pair your white jeans on a cool day with a long sleeve top in a bright color and throw a denim jacket over it or put a black sweater on with some black flats or black cowboy boots. Nothing is more classic than a crisp white blouse and khakis or jeans. Put on a pair of brown or tan mules with a bit of a heel or a driving loafer. If you are a bit younger, wear a ribbed tank in a bright color or a white t-shirt under a white 3/4 sleeve jacket and a pair of slim jeans, too cute! There are a ton of things you can do with white pieces. Find a look you like in a magazine and find similar pieces where you shop and you have your outfit, just make sure it fits! Or better yet, show me a look and I'll find it for you! How easy is that? I'll be waiting for your call~~

Ready for Monday?

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend we had here in Nashville. But, Mondays must come and with that everyday clothing choices, especially if you have a job out of the home. This usually means not as laid back and unimportant as the weekend. Everyday you present yourself to those around you and like it or not, the way you look has an impact. For this milder temperature we are having, all the 3/4 length sweaters, jackets, coats, blouses, etc. are great. The jackets especially have different cuts and the fuller swing jacket is great if you are blessed by being a little wider than you'd like. Make sure the shoulder, neckline, and across the bust fit. It is also time to start pulling in some lighter weight fabrics and put away the dark, bulky sweaters and heavy wool pants. This is particularly easy to do in this part of the country with our fairly early spring. Most likely we will have more days like today than freezing cold from now on. Hope this helps and of course contact me if you'd like help with your spring wardrobe. Thanks...
